2-day Fisher Tower’s Section of the Colorado River
This is the ultimate paddle boarding trip for any outdoor enthusiast. Must have previous stand up paddleboarding experience and have basic paddleboarding skills.
Trip begins at the historic Dewey Bridge. This is a flatwater section called “postcard alley”. Rightfully named, the scenery is one of the most beautiful and photographed areas of the Southwest Desert. During the course of the day, your guide will be preparing you for whitewater stand up paddle boarding. Each of our guides are certified paddle board instructors.
Camp is at Onion Creek Rapid, the first rapid of the Fisher Towers Daily. The scenery at this spot is unlike any other. Once at camp, you can relax on the beach or we can go play in Onion Creek Rapid. Dinner is freshly prepared for you.
The day is started with a healthy breakfast. Once camp is all packed up, it is time to put your stand up paddle boarding skills to the test. The Fisher Tower’s section of the Colorado River is an excellent section to learn how to safely navigate whitewater. This section is a class II/III section. Class III during spring run off (April-May) Class II the rest of the year.
This trips includes a guide, equipment, transportation, food, sleeping kits, snacks and drinks. All of your overnight gear will be taken down river by a support craft and will be ready for you at camp.
